Dr. Lanning Tian
Chairwoman of Zhongguancun SSIDC Smart Health and Senior Care Industrial Alliance
Dr. Lanning Tian has a Ph.D. in Health and Welfare Management, International University of Health and Welfare (IUHW) in Japan. And she graduated with Master’s Degree from Depaul University in the United States, majoring in Information System Management. She is fluent in English, Chinese and Japanese. She was once the Director of IT Department in Social Welfare Centre and led the National Information System for Aged Services funded by the Ministry of Civil Affairs.
In 2014, Dr. Lanning Tian founded SSIDC Senior Service Informatics Innovation Research Center and the Zhongguancun SSIDC Smart Health and Senior Care Industrial Alliance. She is also the editor-in-chief of the “Empower the Next Stage of Life” book series.
Now Dr. Lanning Tian is also the Vice President of China Association of Social Welfare and Senior Service, and a Research Fellow at the Center of Gerontology, Tsinghua University. Before she came back China in 2010, she worked at both Walgreens Company and Accenture Company.
