Forum on Standardized Aged Care and Senior Care Informatics Was Held Successfully at the National Conference Center, Beijing
The Forum on Standardized Aged Care and Senior Care Informatics, organized by China Association of Social Welfare and China Social Welfare foundation, co-organized by National Standardization Committee for Social Welfare and Services and Senior Service Informatics Development Committee (SSIDC), supported by Intel Corporation, was held successfully at the National Conference Center in Beijing. In the forum, SSIDC also launched the 2013 Innovation Awards for IT Products for Senior Care.
Ms. Wang Suying, Deputy Director General of Department of Social Welfare and Charity Promotion of the Ministry of Civil Affairs attended and addressed the ceremony. Ms. Feng Xiaoli, Vice President and Secretary General of China Association of Social Welfare and Deputy Director and Secretary General of National Standardization Committee for Social Welfare, gave the audience an exciting speech.
The informatics part of the forum was presided over by Ms. Tian Lanning, Vice Secretary of China Association of Social Welfare and Director General of SSIDC. Advanced experience and research findings on senior service informatics were shared by some experts, scholars and practitioners in this field, including Stephen Agritelley, General Manager of Medical Department of Strategy and Solution of Intel Corporation, Prof. Lu Zhaoxia, Senior Vice President of Neusoft Corporation, Dr. Wang Lei, researcher at Shenzhen Institutes of Advanced Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Mr. Li An, General Manager of Beijing UniCare Information Technology Co., Ltd., Mr. Qian Hui, Product Director of Beijing Join-Cheer Software Co., Ltd. and Mr. Zhang Zhen, President of Beijing Whaty Technology Development Co., Ltd..
In the forum, the 2013 Innovation Awards for IT Products for Senior Care, organized by SSIDC and supported by Intel Corporation, was started. This award aims to seek for the best IT applications to senior service in the shape of innovative products or solutions to the problems in the senior life. Hopefully, innovative technology and products which are easier to learn, to use and to buy by the senior will be found, and bring a better senior service for China.
